Exactly how am I going to get traffic from TrafficSwarm?
It's simple! You just enter some basic information about the site(s) that you want to promote - a Category, the URL, a Title, and a Description.
This information is used to generate targeted links to your site, which are then displayed throughout the TrafficSwarm network - including our incredibly popular "Start Page" system, the TrafficSwarm search engine, etc.
And our automated Anti-Cheat monitoring systems mean that you're guaranteed only real, live, targeted visitors to your site(s).
What browser settings are recommended by TrafficSwarm?
Generally speaking, we recommend using the latest version of your favorite web browser - whether it's Internet Explorer, Netscape, Opera, etc. If you are using a recent version of any of these browsers you won't have any serious problems using any aspect of TrafficSwarm. Even Netscape 4.7x should work fine.
Cookies are required by many parts of the system, so make sure that your system is set-up to accept cookies from TrafficSwarm. TrafficSwarm is fully P3P-compliant, and serves no 3rd-party cookies, so you have nothing to worry about. Click here for more info on cookies and TrafficSwarm.
The only other thing you should be aware of is your brower's "cache" setting - make sure it is set to check for new versions of stored pages "automatically", "always", "once per session", etc. depending on which browser you're using. Do NOT set it to "Never" check for new pages or you will have problems.
What if my site isn't ready yet and/or I don't want traffic now?
Even if your website isn't ready yet or you don't want traffic delivered to your site for some reason, you should still Join for Free right now and/or continue participating in the TrafficSwarm network so you can build up credits.
If you don't want traffic to your site right now, just Login to your account and you can temporarily disable your links from being displayed. Then when you are ready for traffic all you have to do is re-enable your links. What if my site isn't ready yet and/or I don't want traffic now? - Top
